The client wanted to design the new storage facility with future customers in mind. We selected special finishes and accents that would leave a lasting impression but would also serve a purpose in function. We incorporated special touches like a built-in coffee bar, TV wall, and a seating area to make guests feel welcome. Custom features such as the reception desk with LED lighting underneath and special metallic laminate on the reception front created a cool, contemporary feel.
The color scheme was built around the company colors, including multiple shades of blue, black, and white. We made an intentional decision to keep the vibrant blues in the floor and furniture while leaving the rest of the space in soothing neutrals. Another custom element was the stained concrete floors in a 100% custom stain made from three paint colors as a color reference. The hard surfaces on the floors and walls, while beautiful, can create acoustic issues, so we brought in eye-catching acoustic paneling above the reception desk to absorb the sound. The client and designer considered the customer with every detail.
