The new space for the corporate office of PolyQuest, Inc had to have an open-concept floor plan to encourage a more team-oriented environment. High-end, specialty materials were used in the visitor areas to create a luxurious experience for their clients. Open offices were designed for clients of PolyQuest to use if needed, as well as a striking, modern dining room that rests in the middle of the office. A fireplace feature wall mirrored by two china cabinets adorn the walls of the dining room for entertaining clients and hosting dinner parties.
In the overall design of the office space, warm woods contrast soft textiles and cool stones; while a blend of neutrals accented by cognac and blues complements the rich and varied textures found throughout the office. Suspended lighting defines each space, as well as unique, stylized furnishings. A custom crotch mahogany conference table is the statement piece of the board room, accentuated by sleek pendants that hang above. For an addition of color, local photographers, Chris Frick and Ned Leary’s artwork is featured in multi-functional zones—giving this elevated, corporate style a comfortable, yet contemporary flare.
