After working with our clients at their Myrtle Beach office and establishing the CAMS brand, they wanted to continue what we developed into their Charlotte office, while also merging the elevated, corporate atmosphere of the city. The new space was part of an older building in Charlotte that featured low, exposed concrete ceilings. To contrast the ceiling, we incorporated soft, absorbent materials, and acoustic baffles to not only provide sound reduction, but also add an artistic, colorful element to the exposed look. Durable materials such as powder-coated metal, laminate surfaces, and stain-resistant, high-wearing commercial fabrics were used throughout to heighten the corporate style and keep to the need of commercial durability.
Our client’s old office was gray and full of neutral colors, so having their new color branding was a great improvement. With a clean slate for the upfit, we used a bright, energizing color scheme to create an open office environment with workspaces for as many employees as possible. We provided all new furniture and workstations so we could create a workable layout for their staff size, while brightening their setting. Workspaces are divided by furniture and custom height partitions to give enough privacy to each employee, while allowing for a collaborative environment. To maintain the synergetic environment, their break room is located in a main circulation area. We used a long, narrow, bar height table for eating as well as meeting, and added in a blue backsplash to extend the branded colors. With the use of patterned carpet, color blocking on walls, and unique, functional materials, this office space beams with character.
