The goal for the Town Hall renovation was to maximize the space to accommodate community meetings, while incorporating a refreshing coastal scheme. We used long lasting materials, flexible lighting, and new furnishings, all geared at making the community meeting hall as flexible as possible.
Simple changes updated the interior meeting space, such as raising the existing seat to create the sense of enlarging the room. We integrated microphones into the quartz top for each member of the board. One of our favorite details is the painted v-groove wood ceiling installed at a 30-degree angle to mimic the angle of the custom desk below. The client said his favorite part of the design process was, "working with representatives from Big Sky and the final outcome. I felt like Big Sky listened to what we wanted as a final deliverable and made it work."
