“People need to see it, touch it,” Wilkins said. “They need to test it out so they have the confidence to bring it into their homes.” That’s what Big Sky hopes to do. The bold uses of color are combined with the latest styles, local art, and antiques.
From entertaining family in their ample guest space, to sitting in the common area and enjoying the beautiful colors and custom touches such as their window seat and draperies, they could not be happier. “It feels warm and cozy,” Yvonne says. “It feels like family.”
The Big Sky Shop + Studio will offer swatch books, wallpaper, and fabric samples; but it will also feature curated vignettes driven by varying themes or color stories—designed to create conversation and to inspire ideas for people's homes.
