For me, it starts with a vision. Having always been a creative person, my passion for color, texture, scale and the challenge to push boundaries is what constantly keeps me motivated. At the start of every project, I revel in the client/designer collaborative process, which aids in setting the tone for each concept. It’s imperative for me to personally get to know my clients, helping them realize what they want to take away from the design process and how I can purposefully craft a space to fit their unique lifestyle. Whether new construction or finishing touches, it is first the vision that brings everything else to life. Beginning my career with a design firm in Atlanta, I then went on to work with Michael Moorefield Architects locally here in Wilmington. This gave me the opportunity to work closely with an influential and local architect on client homes in River Landing, Figure Eight, and Bald Head Island. With a well-honed appreciation for architecture, I continue to develop a love of the intricate details that bring distinction to every design. As part of the Big Sky team, I strive to develop long-standing client relationships while offering classic design solutions with fresh, inspired ideas.
