What drives me as a designer is the idea that interior design is meaningful to people’s lives. How we see our surroundings, no matter where we are, is essential to our wellbeing. Each space has a uniqueness that should be expressed. As the owner and founder of Big Sky Design I have had the pleasure to create a purposefully open and collaborative work environment. Creating this type of work environment has allowed our talented design team to share ideas and build upon our knowledge of industry related materials and resources. And as each design concept evolves during the lifetime of the project, we, as a team, invite our clients into the process. With this organic approach, my team and I have been able to create artistically functional interior spaces. When we succeed, the result echoes my fundamental belief: Elevating everyday surroundings enhances the day-to-day experience. I have loved being a part of the Wilmington design community for all these years. Getting to know clients, both commercial and residential, seeing their homes and understanding their work environments has given me insight into “the fabric” of Wilmington. It is the people here and their passion that translates into spaces, that makes Wilmington such a special place.
